About the need
This ministry works in undeveloped countries where many children are unable to attend to school and are forced into child labor. Less than 1% of people are Christian and many have never even heard of Jesus. Our local partners are working with new churches to start Children’s Clubs that will both change children’s lives and transform their communities.
Meet Malee
Malee* a tenth grade girl recently became a Christian after attending a local Children’s Club started by Agape Asia. She began praying earnestly for her father, who struggled with alcohol addiction and unemployment. God answered her prayers in a remarkable way: in July, her father not only gave up alcohol but also secured a job at a shopping mall after receiving job training. This breakthrough opened the door for the family to begin a Discovery Bible Study (DBS) group in their home. Shortly after, this DBS group grew into a first-generation house church, and several members have been baptized!
Today, Malee leads a Children’s Club for 25 kids in her own community!

Child Impact
Agape’s ministry partners lead weekly Children’s Clubs that provide basic needs for 40 – 50 children in each community. These Clubs provide necessary education, bring joy, offer medical support, share Bible stories, and lead sports.
Community Impact
Local partners are multiplying churches in new communities in this region. When local leaders enter a new community, one of their first steps is to start Children’s Clubs that compassionately care for children and build relationships with families. These clubs share faith with children, open doors for Bible studies with adults, and ultimately lead to new churches in unreached places.
Sustainability Impact
Leaders in this ministry receive Business for Mission (B4M) training, vocational training, and have access to small business grants. This ensures that leaders can support themselves, their families, and frontline ministry. In addition, each new church that is planted helps support their own Children’s Club.
