About the need
Children in Myanmar face immense challenges growing up in one of the least developed nations in Asia. The ongoing toll of civil war continues to deepen the poverty many families face. Abandoned children are often left with no where to turn. Our partners in Myanmar are finding Christian homes for these children to grow up in a safe, loving enviroment.
Child Impact
Orphaned children in these parts of Myanmar face the dangers of street life and civil war everyday. Through this ministry, they will be brought into safe, loving homes where can grow as part of a family, attend school, and have their needs met.
Community Impact
In addition to bringing children into loving homes, local leaders also visit nearby communities and lead Children’s Clubs to serve dozens of at-risk children who still live with family members. Each partner is also is leading and/or planting new churches in their community.
Sustainability Impact
Ministry leaders in Myanmar have received business and leadership training. Now they are launching small businesses like restaurants, transportation businesses, and more that will increasingly fund their work, allow them to serve more children, and support their evangelistic work in nearby communities.
