Surgery soon in Wuhan, China
Since our last post, ZhenZhen has arrived in Wuhan and is now being evaluated by a wonderful team of cardiologists and various other specialists. They are trying to determine what steps, if any, can be taken to improve her deteriorating heart condition.
From the time she was abandoned in a hospital by her mother at 4 years old until now, ZhenZhen (“Jen Jen”) has been a testament to love, care and compassion. For the past 14 years, her smile has been infectious and we all have fallen in love with her tender heart. Now its her physical heart – the congenital heart defect she was born with – that we are trying once again to deal with.
The doctors in Wuhan are planning a procedure that they hope will improve her blood flow – and we are prayerfully going to pursue that. But, we need your help to pay for this procedure. We expect this procedure to cost close to $10,000. Anything you can give to help cover this cost would be greatly appreciated.
Whether you can give financially, you can give prayerfully! So join us in praying for successful outcome for ZhenZhen.
