We are starting a series of posts called “Where are they now?” We will be providing you stories and photos of children we have cared for in years past and where they are now.
The first story is about Su Yu Zhen, a recent college graduate from Guilin.
Earlier this year, I was able to spend some time with Su Yu Zhen while visiting with Alvin in China.
But, thanks to the work of our staff in China and the love of donors in the US, she had a different path.
She attended school, had a loving family to care for her, and recently graduated from college.
Without your help, she would not be where she is today. Now, she is living out the dreams she has had since she was a young girl and understands the power of love – even from thousands of miles away!
This month, we launched our 2018 Year-End Campaign so we can pierce through the darkness in the lives of children like Su Yu Zhen and give them hope.
Our goal is to raise $25,000 by December 31st.
You see, even though we have helped more than 4,000 children since we started in 1997, there are millions of orphans and children in need of lifesaving surgeries in Asia.
We simply can’t do it without you. Your support will make a real, lasting impact in the lives of those who are still in need.
The lives of hundreds of others like Su Yu Zhen are at stake.
