Linwen Zeng is 16 months old and recently had heart surgery as part of one of our medical missions in China (March 9th). She was discharged a week later.
A letter from Linwen’s mother:
My home is in Baishi village, Ziyuan county, Guangxi province. We have five people in my family. My father is Qingwu Zeng and 60. He has prolapsed lumbar intervertebral disc. He works our land and doesn’t have much income. My mother Wuxiu Fan is 50 and blind. She cannot work. I stay at home to take care of my child and do some housework. My husband Xuehua Liu is 28 and has a high school education. He works our land and does some temporary jobs in local towns and villages. He is the main provider to the family.
Our daughter was diagnosed with congenital heart disease when she was 15 months old. She is so little and cute. We couldn’t imagine that she would die if she doesn’t have open-heart surgery. We feel very sad and vulnerable on the diagnosis. Moreover, we don’t know how we could afford the surgery cost. We cannot give up the life of my daughter who is so innocent. We contacted Chinese Agape through a surgeon Dr. Zhu and hope we can receive the financial support on my daughter’s surgery.
Thank you for your help and we appreciate your kindness very much.
